National Road Trip - Merrillville, IN

Our day started out very nicely from a warm cozy apartment, courtesy of Janice Buist. We have both known Janice since sometime in 1998. We've kept in touch over the years and were very lucky to have had the fortune of crashing on her futon and air mattress while the rest of the world worked.

As you may have seen from the 'Shout Out' post, Eric and I spent a little time at Tom and Ed's Autobody then back to Janice's to fix a speaker in Eric's door.

Janice got home from work and after hanging out a bit and catching up, we headed out for dinner. Our first stop was Red Lobster, but after realizing how costly it was, we left and went to Red Robin.

There we spent the next hour and a half, or so, continuing to catch up. We had a great time. Thank you Janice! It was very nice to see you and hang out for a bit.

Now we're back on the road. The plan is to drive straight through to Boise. Google maps says it'll take "about a day".

Should be fun.
