D2S - Sunday

Sunday morning allowed us a little bit of extra time to sleep in. But just a little bit. I ended up sleeping in the sanctuary because I could not get comfortable on the hard floor with a chorus of noises going on in the sleeping area designated for the men. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the sanctuary floor was slanted, so I slept with my head below my feet and woke up with the force of heart attack, thinking I couldn't breathe. Turns out...I was just all stuffed up. That was nice.

We all gathered for one last briefing and wrap-up before we hit the road. We stopped for breakfast at McDonald's and Brittnea Barns was the only one who fit the requirements for the McDonald's Play Area thing. Lucky...


Before we made the final trip home, we stopped at the South Center Mall in Tukwila to do some Small Group time. So, Zach, Josh, and myself commandeered the kiddy play area to ask some deep questions and really reflect on the things that we had learned over the weekend. This was a great time for us as we shared and prayed with one another. I'm proud of the decisions that these boys...er...young men, are making in their lives.
